MAGIC MENU
Designed for 3D artists who need perfectly organized working files without wasting hours on manual cleanup. The Basic Edition automates your most tedious routine tasks, saving you time and keeping your projects lightweight.
What included?:
1. Object & Organization Tools
Say goodbye to cluttered scenes and annoying multi-user data errors.
-
Rename by Viewport: Instantly rename visible objects based on their polycount and type. Your assets will automatically become clean, readable tags like Small_Mesh_1 (under 2k faces) or Large_Mesh_1 (over 20k faces).
-
Auto Sort Collections: Automatically structure your entire project. This tool sorts everything into a dedicated collection tree based on object type and mesh size.
-
Merge Objects .001: Instantly clean up duplicates. It detects meshes sharing suffixes like
.001or.002, makes them single-user to prevent breaking other data, and merges them into one unified object. -
Apply Rotation & Scale: Fixes the dreaded "multi-user data" error automatically by duplicating shared mesh data before applying transforms across all selected objects.
2. Materials & Viewport Enhancements
Keep your viewport focused and your file sizes incredibly light.
-
Merge Materials .001: The ultimate imported-asset cleaner. It takes duplicate materials (like
metal.001andmetal.002), consolidates them back to the original base material, updates every slot, and wipes out the junk. -
Isolation Ghosting: Gain perfect spatial awareness. Instead of hiding the rest of your scene, this turns everything unselected into a transparent, unclickable wireframe "ghost" so you can model in context.
-
Camera Bookmarks: Save up to 5 viewport angles directly to your hotkeys to jump between crucial perspectives without cluttering your scene with actual camera objects.
-
Texture Bridge: Instantly opens the images of your active material slot in the Image Editor, prioritizing what you are currently working on.
-
Auto-Cleanup: Your scene's dedicated janitor. Safely merges duplicate materials, purges unused images/lights/curves, and wipes out stray
.00xmeshes.
3. Advanced Scene Tools
These are the heavy hitters designed to save you hours of tedious manual labor.
-
Orphan Purger Pro: A deep-cleaning system that goes beyond Blender's default tool. It strips the "fake user" flag from bloated data-blocks and recursively purges them.
-
Instance Converter: Slashes memory usage by scanning for meshes with identical geometry and converting them into linked instances (like Alt+D).
-
Physics Settle: Stop placing objects by hand. Select your falling items, pick your floor last, and let real-time rigid body physics drop them naturally into place.
-
Randomize Transform Plus: Introduce controlled chaos with a live adjustment panel for location, rotation, and scale.
-
Auto UV: Get clean unwraps instantly. It marks seams on edges sharper than 60° and applies a finely tuned Smart UV Project.
-
Focus Zoom: A flawless viewport framing tool that works perfectly even when triggered from the popup menu.
Spotlight: Blend Objects
This is our largest scene tool, designed to seamlessly merge intersecting objects. Simply select the objects, pick your target last, and choose your method:
-
Normals Only (Shading): Keeps your geometry untouched. It uses a Data Transfer modifier to copy custom normals, making the seam disappear visually. Perfect for rocks on terrain or kitbashing.
-
Real Geometry (Apply): Destructively boolean-unites the objects and automatically builds a rounded polygonal fillet along the exact intersection seam.
-
Real Geometry (Live Modifiers): A non-destructive workflow using Boolean Union and angle-limited Bevel modifiers. You can still move the source objects while the blend updates live.
-
Seamless Remesh (Organic): The deepest blend available. It rebuilds the entire surface with a voxel remesh into one continuous quad-skin, removing all traces of the intersection. Ideal for sculpting bases!
(Note: Every tool comes with a live "Adjust Last Operation" panel in the bottom-left corner of your viewport, letting you tweak settings like fillet radius, voxel size, and curvature live!)
